Bio

Irene was born in Taipei, Taiwan, and now based in Berkeley, California.

Growing up reading comics and watching animation, Irene Chan was inspired to draw from an early age. During her 7 years of concept artist experience at Activision, Irene created gaming environment, props and UI for Madagascar and Skylanders series. Now a full-time freelance artist since 2017, Irene’s portfolio ranges from motion graphic and graphic design to novels and children’s books across Asia.

Irene loves to travel and try out new cuisines, always passionate about learning other cultures, arts, history and architecture as she travels. In addition to animal lover and collector of video game/animation toys and figurines, IRene also enjoys watching sports and attending live music events.
